What we do
We build new drives and replace old ones in block paving, resin bound, tarmac, gravel and pattern imprinted concrete, and we lay patios and paths in back gardens. We cover the whole of Darlington's DL1, DL2 and DL3 postcodes, including Hurworth, Middleton St George and Heighington.
How we work
Every job starts with a visit. We measure up, look at the ground, check where the water will go and talk through the surface, the edging and the kerb. Then we give you a clear quote that sets out the depth of dig, the base, the edging and the drainage, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. There is no charge and no obligation.
Why the base comes first
Darlington's clay is unforgiving. Most drives that fail here fail because the base was too thin or the edging was not fixed. We dig to firm ground, build a compacted stone base, fix the edging in concrete and plan the drainage before we think about the finish.
Straight answers
We publish guides to costs, planning and dropped kerbs and choosing a surface, so you can plan with the facts in front of you. We do not publish prices, because a price without a visit would be a guess.
