Owner and data controller
Darlington Driveways is a trading name of 360 Media Works Ltd, company number 12691769, registered office Varsity House, C/O A E Scott & Co, Falcon Court, Preston Farm Industrial Estate, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3TS. The company named above controls the personal data that arrives through darlingtondriveways.co.uk, which means it sets the purposes and the means. Anything about privacy not covered here can be raised through the form on this website.
What arrives when you contact us
Only the fields you complete on our quote form reach us: who you are, how to reply (telephone and email), the postcode of the property and whatever you choose to say about the driveway. We need nothing more than that to answer you, and the website has no user accounts.
Grounds for using your details
You contacted us and asked for something, so dealing with it counts as a step taken at your request ahead of any contract. Replying to people who get in touch is also a legitimate interest of the business, and that is the second ground we rely on.
Who handles your enquiry
Only our own team and the service providers named on this page see your enquiry, and only so it can be dealt with. Selling, renting or swapping personal data is something we never do.
Storage period
An enquiry is held for up to 24 months counted from our latest contact with you. Once that period ends, it is permanently removed.
Embedded form and international transfer
The enquiry form is part of darlingtondriveways.co.uk rather than an embedded third-party form. When you send it, your details go to our own form handler on Cloudflare, which stores them in a Cloudflare D1 database and then adds them to our customer records system, HighLevel, a US company acting as our data processor. That can mean your details are transferred to the United States, protected by the safeguards in HighLevel's data processing terms.
Where the site is hosted
Darlington Driveways runs on Cloudflare, whose systems process routine technical data such as IP addresses so that pages arrive quickly and attacks are blocked. Analytics, advertising tags and tracking cookies are not part of this website.
If you click to show the map on one of our area pages, an embedded Google Maps view loads; until then nothing is fetched from Google. The loaded map is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Stopping automated submissions
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is sending the form, which involves processing basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type. To stop spam and repeated submissions we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with your enquiry and in a short-lived rate-limit record, never the address itself. No Facebook or advertising pixel is used.
Data the form keeps on your device
The form sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Along with what you type, it sends the address of the page you are on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link (utm_ values), so we know where enquiries come from. Our cookies page has the details.
Taking it further
We would rather put things right ourselves, so do tell us first. You are also free to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office through ico.org.uk.
What you are entitled to ask
UK data protection law gives you the right to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to or restrict its use. Make any request through the enquiry form and we will answer within one month.
